Healthcare

General Support

The Gaede Foundation provides support to selected health centres across Ghana. This is aimed at providing outcomes that affect the greatest number of people. Partnership with selected health centres is based upon the Foundation's perception of efficient delivery and ease of monitoring. The Gaede Foundation also provides direct assistance to children in need of health care support.

Support for Eye Surgery

The Eye Department of the University of Health and Allied sciences in Ho, is collaborating with Eye clinics in the Ridge and Agogo Hospitals to provide painless minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) to glaucoma patients in Ghana, starting from April 2018. The minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) is safe, affordable, painless and fast. All eye centres across the country have been encouraged to start delivering this service to glaucoma patients.

Gaede foundation through funding partners will sponsor cataract and glaucoma operations for rural folk in the Central, Eastern, Western and Ashanti regions who cannot afford these services. The charity operations will be offered at the Good Shepherd Eye Hospital in Breman Asikuma.
