My name is Gifty Omane, a sixth year Doctor of Pharmacy student at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and technology (KNUST).
My father passed away when I was in my first year in secondary school. Madam Mina Offei, the school’s counsellor and SU patron broke the news of my father’s passing to me. After that she started paying close attention to me and opted to help me get a scholarship as things started taking a downhill turn.
On one occasion, my name was called out at an SU meeting to meet Madam Offei and Mr. Yaw Offei, the then travelling secretary of SU. When I met them, they both broke the news of my getting a scholarship from GAEDE Fund. That was around year 2010.
That was indeed one of the happiest moments of my life. The Fund paid my fees and also gave me pocket money. Thanks to them my worries about leaving school prematurely were abated and I completely school successfully as one of the best students by the Grace of God.
Unfortunately my mother passed away when I was about entering the university. GAEDE Fund came to my rescue again and thanks to their immense support, I am in the final year of a six year program. With the help of the fund, my dream of becoming a pharmacist is almost a reality and I cannot thank the patrons enough.
All I want to do is to be a part of the Fund and help others as the Fund has helped me. I hope to lend a helping hand to all in any way that I can to help others achieve their dream.

GAEDE Foundation has been such a blessing to my life. I do not know if I could have come this far if not for GAEDE.
I got connected to GAEDE through Mr. Derek Koomson. He was then the Scripture Union Greater Accra Manager. Upon hearing that my Uncle who was also my benefactor had passed away, he told me about GAEDE and helped me apply for the scholarship. This was in 2015. At that time, I was told the scholarship was for High School students but upon reading my letter, they agreed to help me.
Thanks to this foundation, I am now in my fourth year at the University of Energy and Natural Resources, Sunyani. For every single semester, my fees was paid for.
I thank all the stakeholders of the foundation for their unending support for each and every student they support. God bless you all and this foundation.

I became part of Gaede Fund through the Western Regional Manager, Mr. Emmanuel Mensah in the year 2012 at SHS Form 2 second term.
As the third of four siblings who lost our father when I was 7 years of age, leaving us with my physically-challenged mother things have not been easy for us. This got worse when I entered the secondary school so I lifted my eyes to God in prayer and through His grace, Gaede Fund Scholarship came to my aid till now.
Without Gaede Fund and the help of God, life would have been miserable for me. Paying of fees and providing my other needs was difficult for my mum.
Gaede Fund has been a great source of help to me up to date. I remember those of us who were part of the Scholarship through the Scripture Union were invited to Accra for a meeting and it was really lovely not to forget the delicious packaged food given to us afterwards.
Gaede Fund has done and is doing a lot for me. I am doing my best to have a better future tomorrow so I can support and take care of my mum and the family as a whole. May God continue to expand the territory of those who are involved in this fund. I pray for long life and Supernatural Advancement in all aspects of their life and for the works of their hands to be always blessed.

I started nursing school in the year 2012 on my own. By the end of the first semester, things became tough for me. A friend introduced me to Gaede foundation. I got in touch and met one facilitator for an interview in 2013. He asked “why do you go to school when you know you cannot pay your school fees?” I had no answer to this question than to weep.
God being so good, I was given a scholarship. Another side of the story was that, I had borrowed money worth GHC 500 cedis to start my school. They paid this loan and then paid my fees till I graduated, and even supported me through my national service. This foundation also supported me in diverse ways with my social and spiritual life.
I am now a Registered General Nurse who has been practicing for the past one year. My dreams of becoming a nurse would have been shattered without your support. I am really grateful for touching my life. God bless you. Me de mua se!

Gaede found me at a church, I was sick by a rare condition so the church was being told about my condition by the head Pastor for aid for treatment. Gaede approached my elder sister for her contact details so they see how best they can help. That is when my story changed from the untold.
Fortunately for me, Gaede supported my health expenses and fully sponsored my education going forward. My family has also benefited in diverse ways. Not only that but also Gaede consists of very loving and caring management which bring themselves to your level. What more can one ask for? Nothing more, they can only ask to be found by Gaede and the untold story will be an enchanting tale to be apprised.

I got connected to the Foundation in the year 2011 through Scripture Union when I was chosen on the basis of been a needy student. I was later on contacted by the Regional Coordinator of Scripture Union for the Upper West Region who told me the criteria and the details of the scholarship that will take me through my education. I made several calls on the Regional Coordinator for my fees but received minimal financial support till I completed SHS.
However I one day received a call from Scripture Union in Accra Headquarters and I was reassured of the scholarship program which I was doubtful about. I was asked for further details of myself and was told that I will be now dealing with the foundation directly. Lo and behold, I was in my first year in the university after I had paid my school fees by then but my fees was later on refunded by the scholarship scheme and since then it has been a reality that my fees have always been paid.
It really improved my academic performance because I now have little to worry about and also little allowances are given to me for my transport and upkeep in school. I must say it has been the grace of God. For such a Foundation, I must say so far so good. Thank you and GOD bless you!

Hi, I am Akwasi Oduro Kwarteng a beneficiary of Gaede Foundation's Scholarship Scheme. I have been part of this family for almost four years and I must say I am very happy and appreciative that I was selected as part of the many recipients of this scholarship.
I am a student of Kwame Nkrumah University Of Science And Technology pursing BSC. Meteorology and Climate Science after successfully graduating from Senior High School. Thanks to you I am a step closer to achieving my goals.
By awarding me the scholarship, the Foundation has lightened the financial burden of my parents. Your generosity has inspired me to help others and give back to the society. I hope one day I will be able to also help students to achieve their goals just as you have helped me. Thank you.

- Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology - BSc. Computer Engineering
Edmund Lawerh Amanor is my name. I am a second year Computer Engineering student at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
I became a beneficiary of the Gaede Foundation sponsorship aimed at helping brilliant but needy students go higher in their academic pursuit. During the third term of my first year at Keta Senior High Technical School, I was faced with a very serious financial challenge which had to do with my fees, books and other stuffs I needed as a student because both parents were unemployed. But little did I know that God had a wonderful package in store for me.
While we were approaching the end of the term, the then Chaplaincy Prefect, Mr. Gagbe Bismark who was also the Scripture Union president asked me to see him because the Patron of the Union, Mrs. Edith S. Agbale had asked him to get someone whom she would recommend for the Gaede Foundation sponsorship.
So when I met him, he sent me the Scripture Union patron who then interrogated me concerning the finances of my parents and my academic performance. So at the end of my discussions with her, she told me to go and pray because she was going to recommend two of us (students) to Gaede Foundation so that they could select one of us to sponsor.
During the vacation after that term, I was at home going about my normal duties when my mum told me someone wanted to speak to me on her phone. Lo and behold, it was the Volta Regional Manager of Scripture Union, Mr. Nyadro John Jnr. who broke the bombshell that I have been chosen to be a beneficiary of the Gaede Foundation sponsorship. Upon hearing this, my heart was flooded with joy because school was resuming and there was no hope as to how I was going to pay my fees and get a few provisions.
So Gaede Foundation took full responsibility of my needs as a student from the beginning of my second year till I completed high school. The Foundation always provided me with enough funds which catered for my tuition (including PTA Fees), living expenses, books and transportation cost to and from school every term. Therefore, I am very much grateful to God and Gaede Foundation for being of such great help to me.
By the grace of God, I completed my high school education in the year 2016 and came out very successful. Nevertheless, I was not able to purchase any of the tertiary admission forms that year due to financial constraints.
So through the assistance of Mr. Nyadro John, I made an appeal to Gaede Foundation to help further my education at the tertiary level too. In response I was told that the Gaede Foundation does not sponsor students at the tertiary level because of the high cost involved (since that same Fund can be used to sponsor two or three high school students.) however, they did not turn me down but asked that I send my results, admission letter, fees and other particulars so that they could see how best they can be of help. After some time, I had a message that Gaede Foundation has agreed to again take full responsibility of my academic fees throughout the pursuit of my four-year degree programme. And Gaede Foundation has kept the promise till now.
I therefore want express my sincere gratitude to Gaede Foundation for their immense support to me and other needy students at various levels of their academic ladder. Without the support from the Foundation, I can’t imagine how life would be for me and where I would have been in terms of my academic pursuit.
It is my earnest prayer that the Lord will enlarge the coast of the Foundation to reach out to more children who need such support to be able to fulfill their ambition.
